OURHISTORY... it's in our blood In 1989, Integrity Building Services Limited started through the entrepreneurial Eric Miller, born and raised in Canterbury, he honed his craft working through the ranks, from apprentice to starting his own building company to becoming a master builder. He was a born builder and his passion for quality, creativity and future proofing ideas are well established into the company's business ethics and strategy. He believed in building quality and innovative new homes and ensured all projects were carefully thought through for future circumstances. He was the South Auckland President of the NZ Registered Master Builders association which has a member base of over 80 building companies. He later became the President of the Auckland chapter before his passing. He also served on the National Housing Committee during the revision of NZS 3604, the New Zealand building standard. He was a prolific and influential leader. He was also a strong advocate in insisting the government and council having strict building guidelines and building codes for weather tightness in new homes and renovation works. He was quoted in many publications and news reports against leaky homes. Today, Eric Miller is survived by his wife Christine, who has been actively involved with running the business as Director since his passing. She has been the pillar of the business since Eric Miller started it, so she has extensive knowledge of the building industry and the business. She plays a very active role in the business and regularly attends the South Auckland NZ Registered Master Builders association quarterly meetings. She is also the Secretary of the association. Warren Rhynd, who has over 30 years experience in the building industry, stepped into the role of Building Manager vacated by Eric Miller in 2002, and has since taken the business to new heights.
